Specialty contractors are recognized in different categories ranging from site work to finishes including electrical, mechanical, and specialty construction areas.

Each project submitted for an award is evaluated by an independent panel of judges represented by a cross section of industry including local design professionals which may review the submission content and visit the project site in order to confirm the entry.

Projects are judged on execution of design, quality of craftsmanship, attention to detail proper installation, outstanding coordination efforts, challenges within the project, project complexity, custom materials, safety program and owner satisfaction.
