Sales Account Executive – Jacksonville, FL

As a key member of MC²’s building’s team, the Sales Account Executive is responsible for identifying BAS, Security, Lighting and Power opportunities, establishing relationships with key contractors and potential clients, estimating, providing scope proposals and securing the opportunities. Be able to present solutions to customers utilizing presentation skills with programs such as Microsoft PowerPoint. Utilize negotiation skills in order to close business opportunities.  Support the consulting engineering community by technically supporting the control solutions provided.  Experience in Schneider Electric Building Systems, Security, Lighting Control and PME Power Management Systems.

Responsibilities/Essential Functions:

  • Estimate control and security solutions per plans and specification requirements.
  • Write scope proposals based on estimates
  • Network with industry professionals in order to increase sales opportunities
  • Establish relationships with key contractors and clients
  • Strong negotiation skills required
  • Communicates regularly and efficiently with dispatch, project managers and engineering manager via voice mail, cell phone and email regarding dispatch, job concerns, technical matters and other issues
  • Advises service sales manager of additional sales potential and solicits service contracts while performing start-up, commissioning, and owner training tasks
  • Provides information to update drawings and keep records of equipment for as-built documentation (turns in all redlined drafting to application engineers)
  • Proficient in Microsoft programs such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and other office solution type programs.
  • Able to job forecast sales and activities
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Self-Starter with ability to manage yourself

Minimum Requirements:

  • 2 years tech school or 4 year business degree with 5 years minimum experience in field operations or sales experience. ,
  • Knowledge of heating, ventilating, and air conditioning systems, control systems, building automation, electrical systems, energy management, fire alarm and smoke removal systems, engineering, installation, and construction procedures
  • Experience with Building Automation Systems estimating preferred.
  • Valid Florida driver’s license
  • Reside in the Jacksonville area
  • Ability to interact with all levels of personnel to include department and project managers, engineers, sales personnel, and service and control technicians
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Willingness to accept responsibility and accountability.
  • Ability to pass high level security clearance procedures if required.

Building Controls Technician I – Sanford, FL

The Building Controls Technician is responsible for programming, calibrating and testing the Building Automation control system installation in commercial facilities.  The Controls Technician I works under direct supervision of the project manager, and works with lead technicians on projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Configure, Calibrate, and Test sensors, actuators, and other field devices connected to the Building Automation System
  • Load, test and verify communication between Building Automation Controllers
  • Start-up, Check out and Commission Control System installation and document findings
  • Generate field notes for As-Built drawings
  • Assist lead technician during Owner Training
  • Perform basic maintenance on existing controls installations
  • Implement Graphical Interface to MC2 Standards
  • Establish and maintain excellent relationships with owner, contractors, and project team members

Basic Qualifications:

  • 0-2 Years experience with Building Automation Control Systems
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Valid Drivers License
  • Strong Computer Skills
  • Strong Work Ethic and Solution-Oriented

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associates Degree or 1-2 Years Vocational Technical Training
  • Experience with Building Automation Control Systems, especially Andover Continuum, Tridium Niagara R2/AX, and/or Schneider Electric SmartStruxure and I/A
  • Experience with Building Automation Protocols, including LON, BACNet and Modbus
  • Ability to interpret Building Automation Control Drawings and equipment wiring diagrams
  • Experience with basic Ethernet networking, including setting of IP addresses and network communication

Security Technician I – Multiple (Sanford, FL or Cocoa, FL)

The Security Technician is responsible for programming, checking and testing access control, CCTV, and burglar alarm installations in commercial facilities.  The Security Technician II works under direct supervision of the project manager, and works with lead technicians on projects.

Responsibilities include: 

  • Program access control systems including door groups, user groups, access groups, access levels and reporting
  • Configure CCTV system installations including camera addressing and configuration, NVR configuration and VMS installation and configuration
  • Program, test, and troubleshoot burglar alarm systems, including Central Station reporting
  • Start-up, Check out and Commission Security system installation and document findings
  • Generate field notes for As-Built drawings
  • Perform basic maintenance on existing security installations
  • Train end user on system functionality
  • Establish and maintain excellent relationships with owner, contractors, and project team members

Basic Qualifications:

  • 0-2 Years experience programming and checking out security installations
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Valid Drivers License
  • Strong Computer Skills
  • Strong Work Ethic and Solution-Oriented

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associates Degree or 1-2 Years Vocational Technical Training
  • Experience with CCTV, Access Control and Burglar Alarm systems, especially Open Options, Andover Continuum, AccessXpert, Pelco, Axis, Milestone, VideoXpert, DMP, Salient
  • Experience with basic Ethernet networking, including setting of IP addresses and network communication
  • Experience with Building Automation, Lighting Control, Nurse Call, or interest in learning same

Lighting Technician I – Sanford, FL

The Lighting Technician is responsible for checking out, testing, programming, and troubleshooting the Lighting control system installation in commercial facilities.  The Lighting Technician I works under direct supervision of the project manager, and works with other technicians on projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Test, Checkout, and Troubleshoot lighting fixture power requirements and driver connectivity
  • Test, Checkout, and Troubleshoot Lighting Controls, including Addressing and Communication
  • Coordinate with installation subcontractor and other contractors for a successful installation
  • Commission Lighting and AV systems
  • Generate field notes for As-Built drawings
  • Perform Owner Training
  • Perform basic maintenance on existing lighting installations
  • Establish and maintain excellent relationships with owner, contractors, and project team members
  • Ability to multi-task and work successfully in a fast-paced company, results focused environment

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • 1-3 Years Electrical and Construction Site Experience
  • Valid Drivers License
  • Strong Computer Skills
  • Strong Work Ethic and Solution-Oriented

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate’s Degree, Vocational Training, or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or similar, or equivalent experience
  • 2+ Years Direct, Hands-on Experience configuring, installing, troubleshooting and commissioning Lighting Control Systems in commercial facilities.
  • Experience with dimming techniques (0-10V, DALI, etc)
  • Direct Experience with Lutron Quantum
  • Knowledge of or experience with Building Automation Systems, Access Control, CCTV, or interest in learning the same
  • Strong Computer Networking Experience
